A DOUBLE BILL Featuring Victoria’s R.Mason & world travelling minstrel Ian Skorscha (of the excellent band Entangados) for a curious cross-pollination of styles making for a unique night of excellent music and performance on a Thursday.

R.Mason:

Vocally, think Stevie Nicks. Tori Amos or Kate Bush. r.mason have 3 new singles set to be released on Surkeus Records in 2023. They are hitting the festival circuit with their new music in the summer months, followed by a tour of BC in the Fall. They made a film about the connection between music and mental health, called ‘What’s The Point?’, which draws from frontwoman Rebeccca Mason’s own experience of life with a debilitating anxiety disorder, which will also premier later in 2023."

Ian Skorscha:

Ian Skorscha is a musician born in Patagonia, Argentina. Alternating his solo songwriting project with session work for different bands in Mexico and Canada leaded him to became a nomad, a troubadour.

 Ian is cultivating a unique and worldly sound. Nourished from Latin and Folk rhythms he’s making groundbreaking music. Committed with words and guitar he takes us on a journey trough unexplored paths across the so-called Americas.

 He’s about to release his first solo LP “Lilah” a view to his earliest compositions.
