Come to Mateada this Saturday the 27th at 6pm to catch Hownd: An old soul with a gift for mindful songwriting, Hownd is an artist unafraid to dive deep. Justin Kelley’s distinct sound has been polished over years of exploration, earning a degree from Boston’s Berklee College of Music. With lyrics mirroring the most impactful observations of humanity, Hownd’s music is a direct reflection of his own experiences.

American-born and Canadian-based, Hownd is refining his voice as a soul/Americana songwriter and guitarist with his new single "Same Old Town." Self-produced and recorded at Nashville's Sound Emporium Studios, the song reflects the subconscious details of modern suburban life. As time marches on, so much stays the same as the world grows more complacent.
