Join us at the Mateada for the final Dinner and Jazz concert before the Mateada closes the music program for the season. On Wednesday Aug 21st, Iain Duncan will be joined by regular visitors Nick Peck on organ and Hans Verhoeven on drums. It's been a great run and we hope you can join us to wind it up with a bang!
A Salt Spring resident since early 2022, Iain Duncan holds a Master of Music from the University of Victoria, where he has appeared in the Victoria Jazz Festival and numerous other venues. He is currently an interdisciplinary PhD student in Music and Computer Science at the University of Victoria. Nick Peck is an award winning composer and keyboardist originally from the UK, with a Masters in Music from Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and is now based Vancouver Island. Hans Verhoeven is the drum instructor at Vancouver Island University, and holds a Masters in Music from the University of Victoria. Hans and Nick regularly accompany some of the country's finest jazz musicans and we are delighted to have them back for the finale of the Dinner & Jazz series.
