Adam Tree aka DJ Monkey Tree has been a reggae ambassador for as long as he can remember, growing up part time in the Caribbean. One of his favorite things in the world to do is share reggae. The rhythm, message and vibration of reggae stirs and warms his soul! In 2011 he founded the Church of Reggae Yoga and started a DJ residency at the Reef, a Jamaican bar and restaurant in Victoria. Since then he’s been spreading the reggae love in festival workshops and on beaches and events in Thailand, Hawaii, Salt Spring and Mexico as part of his Reggae is Light project. He is very excited to share his favourite tunes through the decades of reggae from the 60’s until today at the Mateada’s Reggae night!
