Local up-and-comer Christina is bringing us a night of original music

Christina Kennedy is an 18 year old singer/songwriter, recording artist in the (alt/indie) pop genre, represented actor with Play Management and film director from Vancouver BC.

Her music journey started in 2010, when she trained in piano through the Royal Conservatory of Music. In 2014, she began vocal training. A few years later, she began her craft of songwriting. Since then, she has been inspired to create, write, arrange and release music that best suits her artistic style and expression.

From Piano with RCM, private voice lessons including Studio Cloud 30, to selected top choirs including BCYC and now professional recording at Rain City Recorders, Monarch Studios and Demitone Studios, she is always striving to move forward in her experience and craft.  With accompaniment  of piano or ukulele, she is always  looking for further opportunities to gain exposure and further market herself and my brand as a young, ethnic, Canadian pop artist.

She released her debut single “A Dream Away” in early March of 2022. At just 17 years old, she was accepted into the auditioned BC youth choir between ages 16-24. Her second single “i like u” released in June 2022, followed by "Before We Graduate" in November. 

Her goal is to inspire and continue to create raw and vulnerable art. She is a strong advocate towards mental health awareness and well-being and strives to share her understanding of this subject via social media platforms such as Instagram (@_christinakennedy). Christina hopes that her music will allow others to feel heard in their struggles and will find comfort in the realness of the lyrics.
