Timely selections, diversity in tempos, variance in styles and shades from utter darkness to blindingly light is what makes Matsya’s sets unique and tastefully unpredictable. From atmospheric ambience to current dance beats and sound design, Matsya’s refined palette does not go unnoticed. For over a decade now, he has been involved from the ground up with festivals and events where he has been playing Dj sets. He is also a multi media event curator on Salt Spring Island with noticeable recent events such as Aurorae, Living Spheres, Inflorescence, Mythodical and Silhouette, some of A Sound Tasting Room’s production. 

For this Mateada show, Matsya will be picking into his recent library of Afrobeats, Latin vibes and global bass music.
