Caleb Hart BIO:
No matter how many changes the music industry experiences, the one thing that always remains, is the power of a passionate live show. Caleb Hart has the ability to bring something fresh, honest and extremely powerful every time he steps on a stage.
A natural born performer since he was a young boy growing up in the small Caribbean island of Tobago; Hart has been taking his music around the world full time since 2012. Along with racking up well over 900 shows in the last seven years, he has also released 6 records (3 with Tasman Jude), numerous singles and collaborations as well as won prestigious awards from Western Canadian Music Awards, Edmonton Folk Music Fest and more. His former band ‘Tasman Jude’ made Canadian history when their album ‘Green’ debuted at #1 on iTunes reggae charts, becoming the first ever. Canadian reggae act to pass Bob Marley’s ‘Legend’ album for the number one spot. Though the band went on an indefinite hiatus in 2016, Caleb’s passion for music was re-discovering itself.
All of the sales, stats and awards, however, are just the background to Hart’s mission to spread songs of love, hope and unity wherever he goes. Whether touring with a band or as a solo performer, Hart carries a singular ability to bring the audience together for the show and beyond. His debut solo EP album ‘Island Soul’ was released worldwide in June 2017, and his EP with his west coast band The Royal Youths ‘origiNation’ was released the following September.
His latest record ‘11’, featuring Trinidadian super Producer Aaron ‘Track7’ Peters was released on Vinyl in May 2019 and worldwide on September 11th 2019. It gained over 100,000 Spotify streams in the first three days, with numerous singles from the album receiving heavy rotation from major radio stations around the world.
